Dramaturgy on platô #9

About the course
This course focuses on the study of creative processes in art and, simultaneously, on the work of writing . To participate, each enrollee must dedicate themselves to creating a text that, in addition to receiving guidance from Diogo Liberano , will have their creative process shared, discussed, and energized by dialogue with the other Platô members.
Dramaturgy on the Plateau #9 will take place from June 17th to December 16th, 2023, always on Saturdays, through meetings held via the Zoom platform and at a time that suits both Brazil and Portugal: from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm (Brazil time) and, simultaneously, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm (Portugal time, to be delayed by 1 hour, end of October, with winter time).
In total, Plateau #9 will be carried out through 27 meetings, each meeting lasting two and a half hours, totaling approximately 70 hours of study and creation over the course of 7 months (June to December).
Each participant will be guided by Diogo Liberano in the creation of an original text of their own authorship and, at the end of the course, will receive a certificate attesting to their respective presence and participation in this Plateau.
How it works
From June to December 2023, Liberano will lead studies and discussions directly from the creative intuitions of the members of this new plateau. Dramaturgy on Plateau #9 will focus on the diverse creative intuitions that, influenced by conversations and collective exercises, will unfold, step by step, into a text or artistic creation.
Each week, therefore, there will be readings and writing and composition exercises that can stimulate both textual creation and its improvement. The scheduled readings include plays, excerpts from novels and poems, as well as films, philosophical and linguistic texts, and theories of performance art. The texts assigned for reading will be made available in digital format.
This course is designed for anyone who wants to transform a creative intuition into text, and especially for anyone who wants to create through collective dynamics. No prior training is required, but interest and willingness to study, exchange, and interact collectively are required.
