About the course
Dramaturgy on platô #13, led by Diogo Liberano, is an intensive and welcoming laboratory for dramaturgical creation, designed for those who wish to experience an original writing process in constant dialogue with collective experience.
Over the course of 6 months, each participant will be guided in the construction of an original dramaturgy of their own authorship, which will emerge from the encounter between the uniqueness of their project and the investigative rigour proposed by the course. No previous experience is necessary, but rather a willingness to embark on a path open to experimentation, sensitive listening and critical exchange within a collective.
In addition to the study and discussion of specific knowledge of dramaturgy, this course offers a space to cultivate dramaturgical thinking, broaden references and strengthen the artistic voice within an attentive and committed group.
How it works
The course combines weekly group meetings – spaces for reading, debate and reflection – with occasional individual guidance sessions, in which each participant's project is carefully and personally monitored.
In the group meetings, Diogo Liberano proposes readings of contemporary dramaturgy, theoretical texts and practical exercises that broaden the horizons of the writing in progress. In addition, guest artists will be invited to share their knowledge and open new windows for creation.
The methodology values collective construction: learning takes place through open dialogue and exchange between class members, strengthening not only the ability to write and compose artistically, but also the ability to receive criticism and comments in a constructive and beneficial way.
All texts and support materials will be made available digitally. At the end of the course, a digital certificate will be issued to those who meet the minimum attendance requirements.
Dates and times
Dramaturgy on platô #13 will take place from 5 September 2025 to 27 February 2026, with meetings always on Fridays, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (BR) and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PT), via the Zoom platform (classes will not be recorded).
In total, there will be 24 meetings of 2.5 hours each, totalling approximately 60 hours of study and creation. In addition to the group meetings, each participant will have individual guidance sessions, scheduled by mutual agreement with the advisor.
Limited places
This course is designed to ensure individualised attention and a collective and welcoming creative environment. For this reason, the class will be composed of a maximum of 10 regular participants. In addition, up to 2 scholarships (one full and one partial) may be offered, totalling up to 12 places.
This course is ideal for those who wish to deepen their relationship with dramaturgy in a rigorous, but also open and collective way, participating in an artistic process that respects the uniqueness of each voice and values the power of working together.
For detailed information about the course, including fees, scholarship policy and conditions for participation, it is essential to carefully read the Regulations (Platô #13), available here.
